5 Methods To Generate Leads For Free

It does not matter what you do and what you are selling – Everything starts with a lead.

Leads become customers and customers puts money in your pocket at the end of the day.

You can compare this method with a funnel.The more leads you put into the top of the funnel the more
customers you will get and the more sales you will make,plain and simple.

There are literally thousands of ways to generate leads.Some are free and some you have to pay for.

I want to focus on a few free methods that you can use on the internet to generate traffic to your website which in turn generate leads to you.

Methods include :

1. Articles
2. Press Releases
3. Videos
4. Blogs
5. Social Media (Twitter and Facebook)

Articles are the easiest and quickest method to generate free leads.Choose a topic to write about that is in line with what you have to offer.Articles should consist of 250 words and then post it to your favourate articles submission website i.e Ezine Articles,Amazines,Articlesbase and EvanCarmichael.Remember to offer value to your readers,dont try to sell them something,people dont like to be sold.

Press releases are almost the same as an articles.The major difference is that you must write it in a format that you tell the audience your story in news format.Your heading would be something like this for example – “Internet Guru Rohan Rossouw explains exactly how he started his successfull online business in just a few short months” Press releases are also generally shorter than articles and can be posted on websites like Free Press Release and PRLog.

Videos are an excellent way of generating free leads.You can use a webcam or any digital camera that supports video.Videos should once again offer value to your prospect.They must be able to walk away with something to value of them after watching your video without having to purchase something from you.Videos should not be longer than 2 – 3 minutes and can be posted on websites such as YouTube and Viddler.

Blogs are a great way to connect with your prospects on a more personal level.Make sure that you have photos and stories on your blog so that people can relate to you.Remember that people generally buys from people…..if they can relate to you then they will most probably buy from you.You can setup a blog by using WordPress.

Social media such as Twitter and Facebook are also brilliant tools you can use to generate free leads.Once again ,this is to build rapport with your prospects.A good rule of thumb is not to try and sell anything using social media.Use the tools to connect with you prospects.Make them come to you and dont ever chase after any prospect again.

By using these 5 methods you can easily generate free leads within a few days.

Internet Marketing and Direct Sales,The Perfect Combination.

Most entrepreneurs like to get involved with direct sales companies because of the highly rewarding compensation plans.
Most also dislike to sell the products to friends and family ,also known as personal sales.

What if you can combine Internet marketing with direct sales ? That would eliminate the personal sales factor while you can
still be rewarded by the compensation plans and get the best leverage possible.

The disadvantages of most direct sales opportunities is that you have to do cold calling,attend meetings,convincing of how wonderful
the products are,setup meeting with strangers with a flip file and explain to them how wonderful the products are and also to make a
pest of yourself to your friends and family.

The advantages of Internet marketing is that you don’t have to do any of the above.All you need to do is to teach yourself how to do Internet
marketing to start off with.Once you have mastered that (which should not take longer than 90 days) then you can simply use your new Internet
marketing skill to promote the products from a direct sales company.

The outcome of this combination would be that you spend 2 – 4 hours per day on the Internet attracting customers all over the world to you.
You don’t have to find customers by using ancient marketing methods like cold calling,meetings and all of the rest,they will find you.The concept is simple really
but yet very effective.

Who would not like to spend time on the Internet and profit from it ? It now possible and the best is that all the HATE TO DO’s are automatically eliminated with this perfect combination.

Internet Marketing Requires The Right Mindset

I wrote an email to my team of internet marketers and decided to share it with anyone that is looking
at pursuing a career in internet marketing.This information will be very valuable especially if you are still deciding
if you want to explore the internet marketing route or if you have already started and are demotivated….
Are you ready to give up yet ?

I wanted to give up withing my first few days of studying and implementing internet marketing.Then again after a month and then again and again…

Why ?

1. I had the wrong mindset
2. I did not understand everything

I joined a turn key business in a box internet marketing company to make quick money,the worst mindset you can have.

That is why I tell all of my team members in advance that this business (like any other business) takes effort,money and time.

One day I woke up and decided to change my mindset from “get rich quick” to the right mindset.

I did not worry about the amount of sales I was making and I reached out in times when something did not make sense.I was just enjoying everyday learning and working the business.

Guess what happened next,the next day actually…….leads and sales started to come in and it haven’t stopped since.Im also on the rising start app list No4 of thousands of members

I was also one of the  SATURDAY SUPERSTARS last Saturday.

Im not telling you this to pat myself on the shoulder.Im telling you this to motivate those of you that feel that this is to difficult or that it is taking too long.

Commit for 12 months ,do your part EVERY DAY with the right mindset and you will be successful. This internet marketing business works guys (believe me) ,it all depends on you if you are going to make it work for YOU.The only way you can fail is if you give up.

Check in with me at least once a week via skype or email ,stay focused and connected.I struggled to understand everything and how everything works but I did not give up ,I reached out.
Having the right mindset is the difference between success and failure with this challenging yet rewarding industry.

If you are exploring online business opportunities then make 100% sure of these two factors.
First off,make sure that the Internet marketing training offered are nothing short of excellent.The better the Internet marketing training ,the better the odds for success on the Internet for you.
Make sure that they train you to do Internet marketing in more than one way.There are hundreds of ways that you can market products on the Internet.
Make sure that they teach you most of them,not just in theory but also the practical side of it.Some of these companies do offer most of the methods but it is not
offered in an understandable format.It is crucial to follow certain methods in a specific order and time frame.Look for Internet marketing companies that offer training in easy to follow steps.
Secondly ,make sure that the support are not just in place but that they actually provide you with answers when you need it.Some Internet marketing companies
have support centres and others relies solely on existing members to provide them with support.Although both methods are useful,it is recommended that
the company provide you with a dedicated support centre.The reasons for that is ,members may not always be available when you need them and the dedicated
support centre will have the knowledge of hundreds of members ensuring that you get the right answer when you need it.
The next time when you explore online business opportunities make sure that the training and support are nothing short of excellent.Don’t trust the claims ,try the systems
and experience the training and support for at least 30 days.Most of these companies provide a 30 day money back trail basis.This is also a crucial step with you due diligence with

Does this internet business really work or am I going to waste my time ?
Most people that are exploring internet based business opportunities has been disappointed a few times. 
They have tried numerous opportunities,spend countless hours and lost huge sums of money in the search for that perfect opportunity.
 
It is true that the internet are full of scams,”get rich quick” and schemes.It is your responsibility to do your due diligence before you get involved with any business.The easiest way to do that is to do a search on Google and see what people have to say about it.Also check out the business on the Better Business Bureau website.It will generally be listed there as a scam
if it is one.
 
Once you have identified an internet business that is legit and something that you want to be involved with ,then you would need to make some sort of commitment to yourself and to your new business in order to make it work.
 
You will waste your time and your money if you don’t make some sort of time commitment i.e that you are going to spend 4 hours per day working your business for at least 12 months.
 
The biggest mistake that most people make is that they try everything and anything on the internet.They spend a few hundred dollars and a few hours on each one.That leaves them with empty pockets ,lost hours and a skeptical attitude towards any business opportunity.
 
Internet business are exactly the same as any non internet business.It takes weeks ,months and even years to become profitable.It also takes time and requires some sort of investment.
 
The question is : what are you willing to put towards your non internet based business in terms of time and investment ?
 
Treat your internet based business with same mindset and chances are 99% that it will work for you.But if you are going to try internet based opportunities for a few days or weeks,then rather don’t do it at all.The key here is to make a commitment and stick to it,no matter what.
